ShyAnn is a tiny silver 2011 mini mare who was rescued as a yearling living alone in a rocky dirt paddock. She was untouchable because her life consisted of dogs and children chasing and terrorizing her. She was brought to the sanctuary on August 15th, 2013. ShyAnn is distrustful of all humans, and is terrified of being touched. She has been vetted and hooves trimmed, but it requires effort and vigilance. She needs a lot of touching, whenever possible, to become fully socialized. She is a joy to watch play with her other mini friends. She may have grass on occasion, but needs to be kept in a grass-free lot.
